Dearest Grant,
I cannot believe I am saying this already, but, I am. Happy Anniversary, love. We have now been married for a whole year. You know like 365 days! On our wedding day, this milestone seemed so far away. I thought it would never get here. But it's here. And it came fast. Just look how times flies. We are no longer newlyweds, in the traditional sense of the term. We are now just an old hot married couple. Like For reals.
And I love it.
I love waking up next to your handsome (sometimes snoring) face each day. I love falling asleep beside you each and every night. I love crashing on the couch with you after a long day. I love sneaking sweets with you, when we both know we shouldn't be, but are anyways. I love knowing that I can be myself around you. And I love knowing that you are yourself around me. And Honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
I love your beautiful smile. I love your big hands and your petite feet. I love your big beautiful baby blue eyes, (which I hope our children get one day). I love that "serious Grant" look you get on your face when you concentrate. I love the way your bottom lip pokes out when you get frustrated. I love the enthusiasm you have when watching sports. I love your tendency to have no patience, for bad drivers (because we all know you are the best driver)
Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for being my rock. Thank you for being my biggest supporter and most constant fan. Thank you for working so hard for our family. Thank you for spoiling me rotten. Thank you for making my world a better place. Thank you for being you.
The best thing I ever did was marry you. I will never regret it. I can't wait to see what the next year holds for us. We have been so blessed in the past year, I can't imagine it being any better - but somehow it always is.
I just have one question. Can we still call ourselves newlyweds?
