UGLY SHOES

I am a huge shoe lover...but lately I have seen some horrible shoe designs. I don't know if the designers were drugged, or thought these designs were cute, but I would really like to hit some of them on the head and SCREAM," WHAT WERE YOU THINKING." But lets have you be the judge and tell me what you really think!

STRIPES EVERYWHERE!
Just so you know the new trend this fall is Stripes. It is a classic look that has been around probably for decades but is making a come back with mjor brands. Probably the best brand that does stripes well is J.Crew. Which shouldn't be a shock since J.Crew is the classic all American girl look. So pick up a stripe tee for fall they go with just about well....EVERYTHING!!

Heeled SNEAKERS??

So, I was browsing through google yesterday because I was searching for new Nike sneakers. So imagine my surprise when I found the most unique pair of sneakers I have ever seen. They are nike shoes with a heel. Now, I don't think they are intended for the gym but you never know. Check them out and let me know what you think!!

TREND: FUR VESTS

Another trend this Fall is faux fur vests (or for the celebs below, real fur). Such a fun way to wear fur, check out some celebs rocking theirs. Below that are some of my favorite options to purchase. The key to this trend is to ensure your faux fur vest doesn't look too faux. It's a delicate line, so make sure you are able to see it in person first, or they allow returns.

Jason Wu For Target

How EXCITING???
I don't know about you fashionistas but my favorite designer for amazing cocktail dresses has to be Jason Wu. However, his pricepoint is a bit out of my reach for the moment. You know until I hit the jackpot one day. So imagine my surprise when reading Elle online this morning when I came accross the article that Jason Wu is designing for Target. First Missoni now Jason! AHMAZING!! Here is the first design sketch. I wish the clothes were hitting for the holidays because this black dress is simply to die for and would have totally matched my sparkly bow shoes! But alas we must wait 5 months!! Take a look at the picture...Very Audrey Hepburn inspired!

THE MET BALL

Haute Couture, luxurious, elegant, ausentatious, RICH. What am I talking about?? Well the glorious Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala. This gala is the upkeep of what it feels like to be a Cinderella at High-Fashion Status. The Met invites the who's who and elite of Hollywood.
Many celebrities who attended the Met gala were escorted by the designer who dressed them.
It really should be illegal having so much luxurious fashion in one room. But HEY! I'm not complaining. Bring on the FASHION!! This event wasn't just another year for this incredible gala. It was to coincide with an elaborate new museum exhibit that highlights the work of Alexander McQueen(the young designer who subsequently committed suicide and the young age of 40) the exhibit is called,"Savage Beauty".Take a minute to admire the clothes. They really are pieces of art.
